COURSE IN
TACTICAL RESPONSE
A Tactical Response Unit
comprises of highly motivated and well trained security
officers that are able to perform highly skilled operations
during extremely stressful situations. A Tactical Response
Unit is responsible for all tactical operations that may
arise whilst they are working in the security industry.
I.S.T.A. is the first
Victorian RTO to run a Tactical Response Course and is fast
becoming known for it's high standard of expertise and
quality.
Security officers who complete
the course will be trained in various response tactics and
also in equipment which they may carry on duty. They will be
prepared to handle a host of medium / high risk situations,
protecting themselves and others.

- Riot control (use of
shields)
- Counter Terrorism (Project
Griffin)
