PRIVATE INVESTIGATOR
CERTIFICATE III IN
INVESTIGATIVE SERVICES CPP30607
Certificate III in Investigative
Services is an "industry standard". It is a nationally
accredited certificate recognised throughout Australia. Its
purpose is to ensure all persons involved in the field of
investigations are suitably trained and qualified to perform
their task in a professional manner.
In addition, the Licensing
Services Division (L.S.D) in Victoria requires that all
persons applying for an Inquiry Agents Licence complete
Certificate III in Investigative Services with an accredited
Registered Training Organisation.
There are two primary methods of
investigations, which are both covered in the Certificate III.
They are;
1. Surveillance/Activity
Review - involves close observation, be it overt or
covert, of a person or group who are under suspicion.
2. Circumstance/Factual
Investigation - involves making enquiries in to the facts
of an incident, for example; interviewing people who are of
interest to the courts or insurance companies.
