CERTIFICATE III
IN SECURITY OPERATIONS (DOG HANDLING)
After
successful completion of Certificate III in Security
Operations PRS30103 (Dog Handling), graduates are skilled to
perform security duties with the aid of trained security dogs.
This is a highly specialized area within the Australian
Security Industry.
I.S.T.A's
Dog Handling instructors have a wealth of experience within
the security industry. Both theoretical and practical training
is utilized to equip trainees with the necessary skills to
safely and effectively utilize trained security dogs while
performing security duties.
PREREQUISITES
All participants
must have a current Certificate III
in Security Operations PRS30103
(Crowd Control)
or have applied for RPL for previous qualifications completed.
In addition to these
prerequisites, applicants for this course must also:

mentally stable

Have a patient and preserving
nature

Maintain a high degree of fitness

Have a genuine liking for dogs
