CERTIFICATE III
IN SECURITY OPERATIONS (BODYGUARD)
After
successful completion of Certificate III in Security
Operations PRS30103 (Bodyguard), graduates are skilled to
access, analyses and supply the resources needed to minimise
their client’s risks, thus preventing disruption to the
client’s normal business and personal routine.
I.S.T.A
Managing Director, Mr. Tim Sell, is the chief coordinator of
I.S.T.A’s Bodyguard and Executive Protection course. Tim is a
member and former President of the Australian Bodyguard
Association and is currently on ASIAL’s National Training
Executive Committee.
I.S.T.A is the ONLY recommended
National training provider for Australian Professional
Bodyguards as I.S.T.A ‘only utilise the highest,
professionally trained and experienced personnel’. Instructors
include: Police accredited lecturers, former S.A.S.
instructors, ex - ASIO instructors, South African CPP embassy
Officer, U.S. Marine sniper and more.
Certificate III in Security Operations PRS30103 (Bodyguard) is
the licensing requirement for all Bodyguards operating in
Victoria.
PREREQUISITES
All participants
must have a current Certificate III
in Security Operations PRS30103
(Crowd Control)
or have applied for RPL for previous qualifications completed.
Please note: All
participants, who have not worked in the security industry or
do not have a relevant work history, must complete ‘ON THE
JOB’ assessments in order to receive FULL accreditation for
this course.

If you have already completed
Certificate III in Security Operations, you only need to
complete the Upgrade course to obtain your Bodyguard
qualification.
