Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and Recognition of Current Competencies (RCC) refer to the process of granting a person credit towards a subject or course based on the recognition of competencies held and acquired through prior learning, formal training and work or life experience.

RPL and RCC are available to students who are able to provide evidence of their existing competencies, which align with the assessment criteria of the course.

On completion of an online self-assessment, your results, along with supporting documentation (e.g. previously obtained certificates, letters of employment or references etc) will be evaluated for RPL by an approved assessor.

RPL and RCC is available to all applicants prior to their involvement in structured training.
